  With the help of Vinyl Fluid Records, Runaway Productions, L PRO is set to release his first EP on March 8, 2011, marking a new era in his long career as an emcee.
  
  L PRO also known as LeMont Boyd, who lives in Portland, Oregon where Hip Hop is consistently thriving; is poised for something special.
  
  This EP consists of five songs that bring clever word play, banging hard hitting drums and thick baselines. The lyrical skills that L PRO brings fourth evoke one word, “talented”. And now with this new endeavor, he is poised to prove what he is capable of.
  
  Notably, L PRO is one of the founding members of the Thorn City Improv group; A collection of well known emcees which included Sleep (Chicharone, Oldominions) Soul P, Mic Crenshaw, Destro Destructo (Boom Bap Project, Oldominion), and others.
  
  This group of emcees performed all improvisational freestyle joints with a live band that improvised the music as well. Thorn City’s weekly night and 3yr run gained national attention sharing the stage with Zion I, Dead Prez, Bukue One, 2 Mex and Jean Grae and many others.
  
  The 1st single from Equilibrium, “Encore” has already gotten praise and is only a prelude to what is coming from L PRO and his upcoming full length record “Vertigo”.
  
  Equilibrium was recorded at Soul Channel Studio’s with producer 5th Sequence, and its production was straight forward, with a focus to bring beats that are thick with flavor and raw emotion. 5th Sequence recently released the North Scientifik record and worked with DJ Outclass to complete the EP.
  
  L PRO is preparing to tour the West Coast this spring and looks forward to getting this new EP in heavy rotation.
  
  With continued air play and shows throughout the West, L PRO is eager to get the word out about Equilibrium and then bring you Vertigo later this year.
